A series of teaching events supporting aspiring Clinical Psychologists to explore core clinical themes
We are offering a series of six, 2-hour, teaching events to support aspiring Clinical Psychologists to develop the fundamentals of their clinical knowledge base.
This teaching programme is delivered online by Dr Aisling McAleese (Chartered Clinical Psychologist). It is a 6-week course.
The teaching will assume a basic level of knowledge and is aimed at anyone who has experience in an Assistant or Associate Psychology post, or a similar post in a relevant healthcare setting, or those at graduate level currently pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology.
The teaching will explore fundamentals of clinical practice, including initial assessments in the clinical setting, therapeutic relationships, clinical formulation, risk, reflective practice and psychological research. The teaching will allow attendees an opportunity to explore and discuss these clinical themes through group discussion, case study exercises and between-session reading.
CPD Certificates will be provided to registrants.
