Aisling worked across a variety of child, adolescent, and adult mental health services, completing an MSc in psychological research and MSc in applied psychology, before undertaking doctoral training.  She qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2015, is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a member of the Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP).  Since qualifying, she has worked with children, adolescents, and their families, with special interests in family resilience, early intervention, and neurodevelopmental trauma.
