Clinical Health Psychologist  Dr Catherine Black BSc, MSc, PhD.   


Catherine has spent the past 18 years training within the field of Psychology and in this time she has specialised in the area of Health Psychology. Catherine completed her Masters in Health Psychology (MSc) before continuing her studies at Doctoral level in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych). Catherine has worked within the field of Clinical Health Psychology for the past 5 years and during this time has specialised in delivering pain management support and supporting individuals living with musculoskeletal pain in addition to other long-term health conditions. Catherine has completed additional post qualification training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) which are recognised as beneficial therapeutic approaches in the management of chronic pain.

Occupational Therapist Mrs Sinead Mary King BSc (Hons).

Sinead graduated from The University of Ulster in 1993 with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy. Sinead has 28 years experience of practicing as an Occupational Therapist in Northern Ireland. Through the course of her career Sinead has developed extensive knowledge and experience in supporting people living with a range of long-term health conditions, including chronic pain. Sinead’s current areas of expertise include Pain Management, Condition Management and Mental Health Recovery support. Sinead is involved in the Recovery College in their design and co-facilitation of the courses. Sinead has also completed additional post-qualification training in the areas of Behavioural Activation, Coaching and Mentoring and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Chronic Pain, which is recognised as a beneficial therapeutic approach in the management of chronic pain. Sinead’s wealth of experience across both mental and physical health has provided her with valuable clinical skills which enable her to support people living long term health conditions.

Chartered Physiotherapist Mrs Sinead Boyle BSc, MSc, PgCert MISCP.

Sinéad studied at the National University of Ireland Galway and the Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating in 2013.  Sinéad worked her junior rotations in the NHS in Manchester, in addition to working part time in sports injury. On returning to Northern Ireland in 2015 Sinéad held several Health Service posts in the field of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, both within the NHS and in her private practice.  Sinéad then continued her work within the Health Service Executive in Ireland where she currently holds a clinical specialist Physiotherapy post in Dublin.    Sinéad has continued to developed her knowledge and skills within the Physiotherapy field,  completing specialist post-graduate training in pelvic health at Bradford University in addition to post-graduate studies in Pain at Brunel University, London.  Sinéad has had publications in specialist Physiotherapy journals and participated in various research projects.  Amongst her further training, she has gained Instructor Levels 1-3 in APPI Pilates and hosts regular classes for a range of issues.  In her spare time, Sinéad is a keen footballer and runner.

Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist Catherine Kelly BSc (Hons), MCSP.

Catherine graduated from Teeside University Middlesborough with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2010.  Since then Catherine has worked within the NHS and private practice in England and Northern Ireland.  She has gained extensive experience working across acute inpatient departments, rehabilitation centres and outpatient settings.  Catherine has a specialist interest in pelvic health and movement.  She has a passion for  education, patient empowerent, exercise and movement.  She has completed Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapist Pilates Institute.  Catherine is also a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and is currently the Chair of the Pelvic Obstetrics and Gynaecologist Physiotherapists in NI (POGP).
